Greek tourism destinations are currently being promoted through culinary experiences in restaurants in Brussels as part of the “gaΣtronomia@Brussels” initiative of the Greek National Tourism Organization office in Belgium.
The initiative was presented recently at a joint press conference of the GNTO office in Belgium and the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE) in Brussels.
The initiative launched in Brussels on 29 March and will run until 2 May at selected restaurants and highlight the cuisine of Greek tourism destinations that have direct air connections with Brussels (Athens, Thessaloniki, Volos, Corfu, Zakynthos, Peloponnese, Rhodes, Heraklion and Chania).
A Greek chef from the specific destinations will be hosted in various restaurants in Brussels, for three days, to prepare local Greek dishes that will be offered alongside the restaurant’s menus.
Customers that choose the Greek menu will enter a draw to win a free holiday package to the specific destinations in Greece.
Greek hotels-SETE members participating in the initiative are: Aldemar (Royal Mare, Olympian Village, Paradise Mare), Cavo Spada Luxury Resort & Spa, Astir Palace Resort Athens, Atrium Platinum, Louis Kerkyra Golf, Domotel (Xenia Volos, Les Lazaristes). Sponsor for air travel is Aegean Airlines.
